About the Eggs Benefit:
If this is your first Eggs Benefit, welcome! If you are a returning guest, we are excited to see you again. Please join us for a meaningful morning of breakfast, conversation, and stories that highlight the impact that CDS has on children and families throughout our community.

The event will be held at the Poinsett Club, and parking is available both in front and behind the building. There is additional parking on surrounding streets. A buffet breakfast will be served from 7:30-8am. The program starts promptly at 8am and will end at 9am. Upon arrival, please check in to find your assigned table.

We are pleased to announce that our two special guest speakers are Dr. Desmond Kelly and Marc Metcalf. Dr. Desmond Kelly is a renowned developmental and behavioral pediatrician that has made an indelible impact on our community and the world of developmental pediatrics. You will also hear from Marc Metcalf, a grateful CDS parent and advocate that is also the dad of one of our CDS stars.

The Eggs Benefit is our largest annual fundraising event, and all of the funds raised support our programs and services. Whether you’re attending for the first time or have joined us for years, we hope you’ll leave with a better understanding of our mission and the difference we can make together.

About CDS:
CDS is a unique place, a special concept, that originated in 2000 under the leadership of Dr. Bill Schmidt and other community leaders. Every year our partnership provides services for more 8,500 children and their families with developmental delays and disabilities. Families can receive diagnoses, treatment, occupational, speech, and physical therapy, audiology services, and support services all in one central location in downtown Greenville. Our partnership with the Prisma Wonder Center allows our most medically-fragile patients safe daycare services that are not available anywhere else in the Upstate. We are proud to be a pioneer in giving families hope through newly met milestones and accomplished goals.
