Families have access to multiple providers, while also being engaged in our family-friendly environment. family programs.
Since most families come to CDS every week, we want to provide as much support as possible. We offer educational seminars for care givers and families, as well as workshops for children, holiday celebrations, and special events. At CDS, we enhance the experience of being part of a greater collaboration of services.

CDS’s Notice of Privacy Practices explains our commitment to keeping your child’s health information private and secure, as well as your rights as a patient representative to access this information.
Service coordination.
Our intake coordinators work with medical providers to collect vital records that help determine eligibility with the SC Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (DDSN). If determined eligible for DDSN services, we provide case management to individuals which includes a needs assessment, care planning, plan implementation, referral and linkage, as well as monitoring and follow up.

Although many of our families live in Greenville County, almost 50% come from surrounding areas such as Anderson, Pickens, Oconee, Spartanburg, Laurens, and even a few from out of state. Our website and brochures are designed to connect families from all over the Upstate with available services.
Media Room & Resources.
CDS has wonderful resources for children, parents and professionals to use at the center. Our lobby features educational and interactive toys, and our media room is stocked with children’s books, computers, a TV with Disney+, and a homework area. Our meditation room is perfect for quiet time. We also offer free Wi-Fi throughout the building so that parents can easily have access to online resources.
