Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics

Multidisciplinary evaluations, providing written documentation of the complete assessment and extensive recommendations for medical, behavioral, and educational interventions. Clinical and School Psychologists and Neuropsychologists address learning and behavior/emotional problems in conjunction with developmental or medical disorders (physician must call directly for appointment).

Early Intervention

Early Intervention is available to eligible families with children ages birth to five years through KidVentures and for birth to six years old through BabyNet.

KidVentures provides service coordination and special instruction for children under five years old.  Please dial 864-281-9753 and extension 3955.

BabyNet services include initial assessment of developmental delay, service coordination, and payment for some therapeutic services for children under three years old.

Medical Day Treatment

Provides nursing care for medically fragile and/or technology dependent children Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Occupational Therapy

Evaluations and treatment to assist with refined motor skills, visual-perceptual skills and sensory organization skills to assist in posture, arm and hand use. Through therapy children are assisted with daily living skills (self care, feeding, cutting, writing, etc.) as needed to maximize each child's potential and promote independence.

Physical Therapy

Evaluations and treatment to assist with gross motor development (rolling, crawling, walking, running, climbing), strength, mobility, flexibility, balance, positioning challenges, musculoskeletal and neurological problems. Physical therapists also assess and provide training for assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
